To accelerate the pilot work of heavy metal pollution remediation in cultivated land in the Chang-Zhu-Tan region and introduce new technologies and products for the remediation and treatment of cadmium-contaminated cultivated land from home and abroad, in accordance with the arrangements specified in the "2016 Implementation Plan for the Pilot Project of Remediation of Heavy Metal-Contaminated Cultivated Land and Adjustment of Crop Planting Structure in Hunan Province", the Hunan Provincial Station for Agricultural Resources and Environmental Protection commissioned the Hunan Institute of Soil and Fertilizer, Hunan Agricultural University, and the Institute of Subtropical Agriculture, Chinese Academy of Sciences to carry out centralized demonstrations of new products and technologies for the remediation and treatment of heavy metal-contaminated cultivated land in Changsha, Zhuzhou, and Xiangtan respectively. Following the principles of unified management, unified testing, and unified evaluation, efforts will be made to screen efficient, economical, and practical new products and technologies suitable for the remediation and treatment of heavy metal-contaminated cultivated land in Hunan Province.
